Topping

  • 1 cup rolled oats

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine sliced apples with granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spread the apples evenly in a greased baking dish.

Topping

  • In another bowl, mix rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt. Stir in melted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the apples.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbly.
