  • 8 oz pasta Any type of pasta you prefer
  • 1 lb ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes

Creamy Components

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt or cottage cheese Choose one based on preference
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar) Add more for extra creaminess

Vegetables and Seasoning

  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.
  • Add the ground beef to the pan, browning it until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.

Cooking

  • Stir in the diced tomatoes and simmer for a few minutes.
  • Add the cooked pasta and Greek yogurt or cottage cheese to the beef mixture, stirring until well combined.
  • Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil or parsley if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, try sautéing chopped bell peppers or mushrooms with the onions. Serve with garlic bread on the side for a complete dining experience.
