  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust to preference.
  • 2 pieces eggs, beaten For coating the chicken.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs until smooth.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the egg, allowing excess to drip off, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Lightly spray the chicken with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil for extra crispiness.

Cooking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown.
  • Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate chicken in Italian dressing for an hour before breading. Serve with homemade marinara sauce for dipping.
