  • 0.5 medium Onion Chop finely until translucent.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced for robust flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil For sautéing; can substitute with avocado or vegetable oil.
  • 0.25 cup Chicken Broth Use low-sodium for a healthier option.
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated for a cheesy finish.

Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano Adjust spices according to preference.
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt To taste.
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly ground for flavor.
  • 0.25 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes Add more for extra heat.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat for about 2 minutes until shimmering.
  • Add the chopped onion and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until translucent.

Cooking

  • Add 1 pound of ground turkey to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart until it’s no longer pink.
  • Stir in minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add sliced zucchini and chicken broth to the pan. Stir well and cook for 5-7 minutes until zucchini is tender but still crisp.
  • Once done, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.

Serving

  • Remove from heat and serve in the skillet or plate individually. Enjoy with rice, quinoa, or bread.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, add a splash of lemon juice before serving. Customize the veggies as desired.
