Ingredients
  

Dough and Filling

  • 2 tubes crescent dough sheets Use refrigerated dough for best results.
  • 1 pound deli-sliced ham Choose your favorite type of ham.
  • 8 sticks cheddar cheese sticks Feel free to use different types of cheese.

Seasoning and Sauce

  • ¼ cup melted butter Melted before use.
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ tablespoon dried minced onion or onion powder
  • ½ tablespoon poppy seeds

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the crescent dough sheets and cut each one into 4 pieces, giving you a total of 8 pieces.
  • Distribute the deli-sliced ham evenly among the dough pieces.
  • Place a cheddar cheese stick on top of the ham for each piece.

Assembly and Baking

  • Fold in the ends of each piece of dough and roll it tightly to seal.
  • Arrange the prepared sticks on the baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, onion, and poppy seeds.
  • Brush this butter mixture generously over each stick.
  • Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Notes
