Ingredients
  

For the Sandwich

  • 4 pieces Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter For spreading on the rolls

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your pan or griddle over medium heat.
  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and butter the outside of each half.

Cooking

  • Place half of the rolls, butter-side down, on the pan.
  • Sprinkle a generous amount of Monterey Jack cheese on top of the rolls in the pan.
  • If desired, add sliced tomatoes or bacon on top of the cheese.
  • Place the other half of the rolls on top, butter-side up.
  • Cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown.
  • Carefully flip the sandwiches and cook for another 3-5 minutes, until melted and golden.
  • Remove from the pan, slice in half, and enjoy!

Notes
