Ingredients
  

Pasta and Meat

  • 8 ounces short pasta (penne, rotini, or elbow macaroni)
  • 1 pound ground beef can substitute with ground turkey or chicken
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crispy

Cheese and Seasonings

  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the cooked bacon (crumbled) to the skillet with the beef, mixing well.

Cooking

  • Stir in the cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until the cream cheese has melted.
  • Combine the cooked pasta with the beef mixture, stirring to coat evenly.
  • Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well incorporated.

Serving

  • Serve hot, garnished with additional bacon or cheese if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze in containers for up to 2 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating.
