  • 1/2 cup Green onions, chopped For garnish and flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Enhances the overall flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste.

For Wrapping and Frying

  • 1 package Egg roll wrappers Available at most grocery stores.
  • Oil for frying Oil for frying Choose a neutral oil with a high smoke point.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, jalapenos, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Take an egg roll wrapper and place a spoonful of the jalapeno mixture in the center.
  • Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly to seal.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  • Fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serving

  • Arrange the crispy egg rolls on a platter, garnished with sliced jalapenos or green onions for extra flair.
  • Serve warm with ranch dressing, spicy aioli, or your favorite salsa for added flavor.

Notes

Add spices like cayenne or paprika to boost the flavor. For a healthier option, you can bake these egg rolls in the oven at 400°F for about 20-25 minutes.
