Egg Roll Ingredients

  • 10 pieces Egg roll wrappers
  • 3 medium Jalapenos, finely chopped
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bunch Green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 2 cups Oil for frying Use vegetable or canola oil

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, jalapenos, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Take an egg roll wrapper and place a spoonful of the jalapeno mixture in the center.
  • Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly to seal.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  • Fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Presentation: Arrange the crispy egg rolls on a platter, garnished with sliced jalapenos or green onions for extra flair. Pair with ranch dressing, spicy aioli, or your favorite salsa for added flavor. Cut each egg roll in half for easy sharing or keep them whole for a satisfying snack.
