  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tbsp real butter Divided into portions for cooking
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped For garnish

Preparation

  • Chop the garlic and any vegetables you want to add.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, sear the chicken with 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
  • Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for a minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a boil.
  • Stir in the egg noodles and simmer for 8-10 minutes until al dente.
  • Remove from heat, mix in the remaining butter, and sprinkle with parsley before serving.

Notes

Flavor enhancement can be achieved by adding red pepper flakes, and you can customize with vegetables like frozen peas or spinach. Serve with crusty bread to soak up the broth.
