  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Fresh, boneless and skinless
  • 2 cups egg noodles Cooked according to package instructions
  • 3 tablespoons butter Divided
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika For seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning
  • 1 cup chicken broth Low sodium recommended
  • for garnish Parsley Chopped

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.

Cooking

  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add chicken broth and egg noodles to the skillet. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 10 minutes until noodles are tender.
  • Stir in the remaining butter and return the chicken to the skillet to warm through.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, sauté onions or bell peppers along with the garlic. Feel free to customize by adding your favorite vegetables like spinach or peas. Serve with crusty bread to soak up all that delicious sauce.
