  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1.5 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, well drained
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder (optional)

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine sausage, cheddar cheese, drained Rotel, Bisquick, and garlic powder.
  • Mix well using your hands until all ingredients are fully combined.
  • Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Cooking

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Let them cool slightly, then serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For flavor enhancement, add chopped green onions or jalapeños. Swap cheddar with pepper jack for a spicier flavor. Consider creating a dipping station with different sauces for variety.
