Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 10 oz 1 bag frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 8 oz 1 block cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 cup 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 0.25 tsp 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • pinch Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

For the pinwheels

  • 1 sheet 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed but still cold
  • 1 egg 1 egg, for brushing

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, Parmesan, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir in spinach until smooth.
  • Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and spread the spinach mixture over it, leaving one edge empty. Roll tightly like a jelly roll.
  • Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Baking

  • Slice the log into half-inch rounds and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Brush with beaten egg. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.

Notes

Serve warm for the best flavor or at room temperature for a casual gathering. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
